We are pleased to say that once again we are working in partnership with West Fife Woodlands to help host this year’s Fife Snowdrop Festival.

As in previous years, the West Fife Woodlands group will be providing guided walks through Valleyfield Woodland Park with its wonderful displays of snowdrops.

The walks follow a trail through carpets of naturalised snowdrops and the remnants of the Humphry Repton designed landscape. Join experienced guides who will tell you about the former Valleyfield estate and life in Georgian times.

The walks will take place on each Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 3th February to Sunday 3rd March departing from the Shiresmill car park next to our centre at 2pm. This may be extended to the weekend of 9th/10th Match depending on the snowdrop displays. The walks will last around an hour/hour and half with refreshments afterwards provided by our volunteers. Toilets will be available. The walks are FREE but donations will be gratefully received and shared between West Fife Woodlands and the Shiresmill Therapy Riding Centre. This Fife Council owned woodland is a public place and visitors are free to explore its delights at all times throughout the year.
