Fun Day Success

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us raise a magnificent £2,100!

Last Sunday turned out to be another very successful Fun Day at Shiresmill! A special thank you to Dorry McLaughlan, Chief Executive for Scottish Autism for opening our event. Dorry also presented our volunteers with certificates for various lengths of service. It was great to have Steamer Lane Band back again providing the music throughout the event. We had a great display from the Sarah Hendry Dance Class group, interaction and fun from Jayne Edwards of 1-2-1 Fitness and JKS Karate. Tasty treats were available from Heavenly Goodies, puppy hugs from Guide Dogs West Fife Fundraising Group, lovely and unusual goods from Worn to Wonderful and Owl - Magic were a hit with their beautiful birds. Many thanks to Julie McKell from Asda who came along to help with the raffle and provide Glitter Tattoos. We also had a visit from the Fire Service and the Police which is always a treat. And of course, a huge thank you to to all our wonderful volunteers and ponies for helping make our Fun Day such a success. We couldn’t do it without you.
