Key elements of these roles include;
Leading our trained horses carrying a rider during lessons; connecting with the horse and under the guidance of our coaches leading them while the rider is encouraged to give instructions, for example to stop, go, trot, or follow a specific path around the arena
Walking alongside the horse and rider and ensuring the safety and comfort of both. Providing support and encouragement to the rider whilst engaging in a range of therapeutic activities promoting learning and independence, for example playing games that involve locating specific toys, stretching, counting
Working as part of a friendly team in a supportive therapy riding school environment

This is a physical role that requires walking round an arena
Individuals are required for this role particularly on weekday mornings
