Equine Assisted Learning uses horses and equine-assisted activities created and supervised by a certified instructor to enhance physical, emotional, social, cognitive and behavioral condition and skills in the people who take part. After an informative talk from Sarah, our volunteers took part in a practical taster session where we split into groups and took part in non ridden exercises with some of our ponies, learning more about our own communication and leadership skills. It was an enjoyable and interesting afternoon. Many thanks to Sarah for coming along and sharing her experience with us.
