The programme is run by Venture Trust in partnership with ENABLE Scotland and the equine activities & volunteers were provided by fellow RDA group Equi-Power Central Scotland RDA
Participants camped near Stirling and took part in one-to-one and group personal development sessions.
Horse-based activities (based on principles of 'equine therapy') are proven to be particularly beneficial to those with learning disabilities and the experience will help the participants to improve their confidence, communication and other life skills. On the Hoof is partly funded by BBC Children In Need.
