My background and training is teaching and I have specialised un working with children with complex additional support needs. I am qualified in British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 and now improving my Makaton. I became a volunteer with RDA in 2006 after a chance encounter when looking for somewhere to ride. I have never looked back, the benefits to our participants is so inspiring and rewarding, both to myself and to them. I am a coach, have served as Chair at Shiresmill and now Trustee.
